Garde Gardom, Pat McGeer, and Allan Williams

Three BC Liberal MLAs crossed to Social Credit as the free-enterprise coalition consolidated against the NDP. This effectively merged the BC Liberals into Social Credit.

All three were re-elected and became senior cabinet ministers. Gardom became Attorney General, McGeer became Minister of Education and later Universities, Williams became Labour Minister.
