Boutilier, Alberta PC MLA for Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo, was ejected from the PC caucus in 2009 for publicly criticizing the government's response to the oilsands housing crisis. He joined the Wildrose Alliance in 2010.
Boutilier was re-elected as a Wildrose MLA in 2012.
