Matt Jeneroux

Jeneroux was the third Conservative to join the Liberals. He represents Edmonton-Riverbend - deep in Alberta Conservative country. An Alberta Conservative joining the Liberals is almost unheard of. The last time it happened was Jack Horner in 1977.

He is currently serving. Like the Horner case 49 years earlier, an Alberta Conservative crossing to the Liberals raises big questions about what was offered. Horner got a cabinet post. Whether Jeneroux receives similar treatment should be monitored.
