PARLINFO, the Library of Parliament’s own register, records his party-member roles as Liberal Party of Canada from 1962-06-18 to 1972-03-12 and Progressive Conservative Party from 1972-03-13 to 1972-10-29 (PersonId 3257 role chain), and holds no New Democratic Party role for him at any date. A primary official source therefore contradicts the destination party this record names, and it is the only row in the eighteen the review queue listed as "PARLINFO and the database disagree on the facts" where the disagreement survives inspection: the other seventeen turn out to be the same record stated at different granularity. The label has NOT been rewritten.
