WCAG 2.2 Level AA target

Crossing the Floor targets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA. This statement separates that target from results actually verified.

Verification status

As of July 31, 2026, the rebuilt application has received structural, in-browser keyboard, and build checks, but no complete independent audit with NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack is yet recorded. The project therefore does not yet claim full conformance.

Features currently provided

Semantic main content, headings, and data tables.
Skip links, visible focus indicators, and keyboard navigation.
Tabular and narrative equivalents for public visualizations.
Support for zoom, system contrast, and reduced motion.
English and French editions with the same structure.
Print styles that retain content and citations.

Known limits and unverified coverage

Complete compatibility with mobile screen readers, voice control, Windows High Contrast Mode, and browser–assistive-technology combinations still requires a recorded manual audit. Any confirmed barrier is treated as a defect, not a permanent exception.
